June

Now that we are halfway through July, I thought I should blog about some of the things we did in June.

Together, (mostly Dad) we put up a new swing set in our backyard.

We drove to Twin Falls so we could be at our cousin, Kaden's baptism and cousin, Kolten's blessing! We love spending time with our cousins!

Andrew and Dad spent a day at Cub Scouts Day Camp doing cool things like archery and BB shooting. Andrew earned 2 belt loops that day and 5 more during the month.

We went to two parades....Eagle Fun Days and Meridian Dairy Days. Both were very different, but SUPER fun!!
The beginning of the Eagle parade is "dry" and you get lots of candy.

The second half of the parade is "wet" and we get WET!!!

We all enjoyed free chocolate milk, TCBY yogurt, string cheese and the kids all got t-shirts at the Meridian Dairy parade!

Levi loved the string cheese!

We also went to Wahooz to play a game of Miniature golf.

The kids dressed themselves this day...they like matching and I like it because it's easy to find them when we go places.

We went to our friends Abby and Hailey's house to play and then walked to Powell's Sweet Shop.

We have those same water-squirters the kids used at the parade...LOVE those! Did you make the tie-dyed shirts yourself? I wish I knew how to do it...I really like theirs (am partial to Sarah's. smile.) Lovely family.

Laura,
I had your original blog bookmarked and loved to check in from time to time. Well, I've been gone most of the time since last November helping my parents out in Maine, so obviously I have missed a lot! It took me awhile to find your new blog, which had me very confused at first. Five Cut Kids! Here I live right across the street and I had no idea about beautiful baby number five! Congratulations - albeit a little late. I love your blog; I feel like I'm keeping in touch. I think you must have the most well rounded children I've ever met with all the activities you involve them in. I'm quite sure they've had more fun experiences in the short little lives than I've had in almost 60 years! Thanks for sharing! Kathy McDonagh

Your parades look so much better than ours! We might have to come up to one of yours. It looks like you guys are having a fun summer!
