Disneyland - Day 1

We got up SUPER early (before 4am) to catch our flight out of Salt Lake City.

Levi had been sick in the night, but was a total trooper! He slept most of the flight and the other kids LOVED flying!

At the airport in Los Angeles we were picked up in the Disneyland bus. It took us to our hotel and then we hit the park running!!

We loved that we got to see the Christmas decorations. They weren't taken down until the middle of the week.


We had been told that Haunted Mansion would be closed but when we got there we found out it would only be open on Monday. We went several times on this ride!

We loved that we were able to see the Christmas parade.








Then we went to Grizzly River Run and did many rides as it was also closing after Monday.



Benj didn't go on the ride but he LOVED playing on this Grizzly!

Next we saw the Pixar Play Parade in Disney California.





I LOVE the parades!!!! We actually watched the Christmas parade again in the evening.
Then we went on a few more rides and then got ready for the Christmas Fireworks and Fantasmic!
We LOVED them both! (I know this isn't the best picture...but, I wanted to remember that we went.)

Unfortunately, Levi threw up on Nathan when we were waiting for them to start. However, a cast member made sure that Nathan was compensated for his inconvenience and gave him a "coupon" for a free sweater and shirt of his choice. Here are pictures of Levi and Benj while Nathan shopped on his way to the hotel. There were both WORN OUT!!!


We LOVED the castle at night!!! It was SO magical!!!

Andrew's 9th Birthday

Friday, December 31 was Andrew's 9th Birthday! He started his day with eating Krispy Kreme donuts and opening presents from his family. He got many things that he wanted and had a few surprises.





Then we packed up our car and headed to Salt Lake City to see the lights on Temple Square. The kids had never seen the lights there and besides being VERY cold, it was beautiful!! Because it was New Years Eve there were many things going on at Temple Square like concerts and crafts for kids. It was a fun evening for everyone!

Christmas

Our Christmas was absolutely magical!!!
Here we are waiting at the top of the stairs as our dad gets the camera ready.

and dreamed about our trip to Disneyland.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was absolutely wonderful!!

We acted out Luke 2. (Everyone is singing and Levi kept taking off with baby Jesus. Don't you love our "stable" animals.)

Got sung to by the Deka's.

Opened one present. (They all got a different Scentsy Buddy.)

And got a picture by the tree in their Christmas pajamas.

Then we put cookies and milk out for Santa and then hurried off to bed to get to sleep so Santa could come....not really, but that was the plan.

Pre-Christmas Fun

We did so many fun things before Christmas....

like watch Spencer in his school Christmas program

isn't he the cutest choir boy you've ever seen?!!!


we also went to Sarah's Orchestra concert however those pictures were accidentally deleted - bummer, but she did GREAT!!

we made LOTS of goodies for friends and parties...


we went to Powell's with the Ramey's....

we went to see Santa....

and we went to see the reindeer.
