Tonight was Andrew's last Pinewood Derby. This year's design didn't look like a traditional race car but to all of our surprise it shot down the track. It got a lot of compliments from the other boys--both because it was fast and because it was so creative.
Pretty Awesome!!
I tried to take a picture of his car crossing the finish line. You can't see it because his car was SO fast. In fact, it was one of the final eight cars.
Our very own dad "ran the show" and did a great job!
Sarah and Andrew were recognized in an Earth Day assembly as one of the top five in their class. Andrew wrote a rap and Sarah (and Nathan) made an Upcycle bag. We are SO proud of both of them!!
It was a very cold, early morning hunting for Easter eggs with TWO soccer games starting at 9am.
For lunch we went to the Ball's and had another Easter Egg Hunt.
On Sunday, we celebrated Easter. Everyone got something from Deseret Book and new clothes to wear to church. A picture is coming soon of us in our Easter Best!
What a GRAND Spring Break we had!! We drove to Bend after soccer games on Saturday and enjoyed church and playing with cousins before leaving for Portland Monday morning.
We had a full afternoon at OMSI. They had this really COOL display of Lego's. There is SO much fun to be had at OMSI!
The beach was pretty cold and wet!!
Thank goodness Seaside had an inside Aquarium! We had a lot of fun exploring the sea animals in the Aquarium.
We all enjoyed feeding the seals. Levi especially loved feeding them!
We had SO much fun seeing all the animals at the Portland Zoo.
We got to touch the Portland temple and watch movies in the new visitor center.
A trip to Bend is just not complete unless we spend time at the High Desert Museum.
Nonnie and her friend Janice took us to a place to bowl, bumper cars and arcade. Janice brought her daughter JC and JC's kids, too. It was a SUPER fun evening!! Thanks!
A BIG thank you to Angie, Alexa and Sophie for being such great travelers and thank you to Nonnie and Grandpa for treating us SO good!
