New Adventures for All

The second weekend in October was a SUPER fun weekend for our family. The kids had Thursday and Friday off from school, so our friends, The Ramey's, invited us to their cabin for the long weekend. The moms and kids left after school on Wednesday and drove up to have an extra night of fun and playing then the dads came up the next evening. We had planned on coming home Saturday evening, but we had SO much fun no one wanted to leave so we stayed until Sunday. Here is just a glimpse of the fun adventures we had....

Sarah LOVED playing the player piano...(she even surprised her dad by playing when he arrived at the cabin and he thought she was playing)

these two little boys played and played and played (in their pajamas for most of the time)


These were Levi's favorite friends...

We sang while Jared played the guitar and stayed up way TOO late every night. The kids loved it when the got to stay up late listening to funny stories told by the grownups....

We made silly moster cupcakes...






The dad's took the kids out shooting....






We all went out and drove the 4-wheelers, a dune buggy and motorcycles. This was definitely a BIG highlight of the weekend for our kids as they have never done anything like this. Both Sarah and Andrew learned how to drive the dune buggy, the 4-wheeler and the motorcycle. Spencer and Benj loved being driven on anything. We all LOVED doing this and felt very adventurous!









Then call us crazy but was all wanted to go out on the boat...(it was only 60 degrees)



and some were even crazy enough to go on the "Viper"...(it looks like they aren't enjoying themselves, but they did!)

everyone liked it except for Benj and then at the end when Jack got wet he wasn't too happy either....

one more fun thing about the cabin was that there were bears EVERYWHERE.....(thank goodness not real ones)...Sarah counted 113 bears in and around the cabin....



even in the bathroom there were bears...so Benj wouldn't go to the bathroom by himself....the whole weekend....

Thank you SO MUCH Ramey family for giving us "an experience of a lifetime"!!! (This was a direct quote from Sarah) We LOVED everything about our adventurous weekend!!!!!
